It is a roadshow to showcase the very latest in Electric Bike technology
Located in the car park there will be numerous electric bikes for everyone to
test ride. Kudos Cycles has the largest range of electric bikes from a simple
folding bike to a high specification mountain bike. Kudos are a forward thinking
company that are proud to be leading way in electric Bike technology.
The roadshow will be a one off event for the public to come down and explore
the brand new range of bikes that Kudos have to offer. Feel free to ask for a
test ride because you won't know unless you have a go!!
What is an Electric Bike?
Basically, it is a normal bicycle with the addition of a battery pack and an
electric motor - you can recharge the battery pack at any time by plugging it
into the mains. The motor's there to ease the burden of pedalling, making it
easier to go uphill or cycle into headwind, and it will help you cycle further,
with less effort, than you could on a regular bicycle. There are many reasons
for owning an Electric Bike here are some of the main ones:
Assistance with pedalling - allowing you to cover longer distances or carry
heavy loads like shopping
Less effort to ride uphill
They’re fun to ride!
Cost effective - no tax, MOT, congestion charges only a few pence to run
per day opposed to cars which are a few pounds
Good for the enviroment - no emissions
Some electric bikes are foldable, for ease of use on public transport
Can get you to work with no sweat!
This event is sure to provide a fun packed afternoon in the grounds of the
Finch's Arms in Hambleton where the public are free to sit and have
